Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 10 April 2026


IshiKart is operated by Hemant Aherwar (trading as Creative Webtech). This Cancellation Policy explains when and how orders and wallet recharges may be cancelled on the platform.

Standard Cancellation & Refund Timelines

  • Before dispatch: Buyers may request order cancellation before the order is packed, shipped, or handed to a courier. Where no special product rule is shown, cancellation requests should be raised within 24 hours of placing the order or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.
  • After dispatch: Once an order is shipped or out for delivery, cancellation may not be possible. Return/refund rules may apply as per the applicable return policy.
  • Refund after approved cancellation: If a cancellation is approved and a refund is due, the refund is processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Cancellation fees: Some products may show cancellation, restocking, or shipping charges on the product page. Buyers must review these charges before checkout.
  • Wallet recharges: A successful wallet top-up cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable. Failed/deducted wallet transactions are auto-refunded within 24 to 48 business hours.
  • How to cancel: Use the order section in your account, contact the store through order chat, or email [email protected].

1. Product Order Cancellations by Buyers

  • Before dispatch: Orders may be cancelled before packing, shipping, or courier handover. Unless a product page states otherwise, cancellation requests should be made within 24 hours of order placement or before dispatch.
  • After dispatch: Once shipped or out for delivery, cancellation is generally not available. A return/refund may be requested under the Refund Policy.
  • Cancellation fees: Some products may show cancellation, restocking, or shipping charges. Buyers must review these before checkout.
  • Refund after cancellation: Approved cancellation refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.

2. Seller-Initiated Cancellations

  • A seller may cancel an order for valid reasons such as stock unavailability, pricing error, compliance restriction, or delivery limitations.
  • If a seller cancels a prepaid order, the buyer refund is processed within 5 to 7 business days.

3. Seller Store & Product Rules

  • Sellers may define product-specific cancellation windows and charges in the store dashboard.
  • Where a product shows a specific cancellation rule, that rule applies in addition to the platform minimum rules above.
  • Buyers should review the store policy and product page before placing an order.

4. Fraud Reporting & Platform Enforcement

  • Report a store: If you believe a seller has engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, or policy violations, you may use the Report Store option on the seller's store profile.
  • Support escalation: You may also raise the issue through in-app Support Chat for further review by IshiKart administration.
  • Investigation: Reported cases may be reviewed based on order history, communication records, product policies, and other platform evidence.
  • Administrative action: IshiKart administration reserves the right to temporarily suspend, restrict, or permanently ban a seller store — with or without prior notice — where fraud, abuse, or serious policy violations are identified or reasonably suspected.
  • No guarantee of refund by platform: Platform enforcement actions are separate from individual order refunds. Eligible refunds, where applicable, remain subject to the seller's stated policy and payment settlement flow.

Note for Buyers: IshiKart is a technology platform connecting independent stores with buyers. We facilitate trade, communication, and marketplace tools; we do not automatically issue product refunds on behalf of sellers unless required under applicable law or a verified platform process.

5. Wallet Top-ups (Pre-paid Wallet)

  • Successful recharge: A completed wallet top-up cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable.
  • Failed/deducted payment: If the gateway shows failure but the user's account is debited, an automatic refund is initiated within 24 to 48 business hours.

6. How to Cancel an Order

  • Use the cancel option in your order account section, if available.
  • Contact the store through order chat.
  • Email [email protected] with your order ID for support escalation.
